MANOLA YOGA
Vinyasa, Kids Yoga & cYoga

For many years I played volleyball at a high level and competed in several half marathons. Again and again, I was confronted with various injuries. In 2012 I had such pain in my shoulders that doctors told me I needed surgery on both shoulders. That's when I realized that I didn't want that and looked for ways to avoid this operation. A colleague recommended that I try yoga.

Through yoga, I not only got my shoulders pain-free again but also found a balance for body, soul and spirit. I am particularly fascinated by the fact that no matter how long someone has been practising yoga, there are always opportunities to get to know your own body better. An exact instruction and the right alignment is an essential part of my teaching. This way practitioners execute their movements in a secure way. As a trans non-binary person, it is also very important to me to create a safe space for every person, no matter what sex, age, race, ethnicity, nationality, mental illness or ability, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity/expression, sex characteristics or religion a person has.
